If there was a better Summer track released this year than 'Sound Of The Summer' then we've yet to hear it. Anyway we introduced you to Jamie Porter in August - a musician living in North Wales, writing and playing original Blues Rock influenced songs and taking them out live with his band - with a view to releasing an album either later in the year or early 2017. So we were recently delighted to get a tweet from Jamie re: his latest track 'A Girl Like You' - which is today's Track Of The Day!

Just a fortnight after this year's amazing BluesRockFest at Leo's Red Lion, Gravesend, the 2015 WRC Award winning Rock On The Ridge show are broadcasting a special show here at 8pm tonight including interviews with all the bands that took part on that memorable day. Bristol based Elles Bailey hasn't been dubbed a 'Blues Princess' for no reason. This young Bristolian cuts right against the grain in so many ways, that’s probably why she’s such a rapidly rising star in the British music scene. Nowadays Elles and her band (made up of some of Bristol’s brightest and finest) are currently tearing up the UK and European scene, scoring raves reviews at every place they play from Bristol to Berlin, with energy packed hi-octane performances. And tonight Elles' trademark gravelly voice will grace the Tuesday Night Music Club at the Comrades Club, 194 Brighton Road, Coulsdon, Greater London, CR5 2NF.

After selling out headline shows nationwide in the US, millions of views for their singles 'Dangerous' and 'In Chains' (today's Vid Of The Day), multiple entries in the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and over 17 million combined streams, Shaman’s Harvest will start the new year with a 25-date tour on mainland Europe with their fellow US-rockers from Black Stone Cherry. The result is a true feast for all lovers of this music with hints to the sounds of giants like Night Ranger, Journey, Bad English and Starship! Cry Of Dawn line up with Göran Edman - lead and backing vocals, Michael Palace - guitars and bass, Sören Kronqvist - keyboards and producer Daniel Flores - drums and keyboards.

With a John Verity Band review waiting in the wings from Steve Potter, a WRC first the other evening was the live streaming of the gig via NMB Live. A dress rehearsal for BluesRockFest - the Inamo Covent Garden, London, feed was watched from Greenhithe in Kent to Ontario in Canada. Despite some expected gremlins - the sound and picture quality was apparently great - so if you can't go to BluesRockFest (why not?) - then watch out for news on our plans for live streaming during the day.
