- Callaghan Forging Ahead! 16/3/16
Another act we introduced you to in August last year was Callaghan who is appearing at The Forge in Camden tonight. In the Summer of 2010 Callaghan (today's Track Of The Day) packed up her life in London and moved to Atlanta to record with Grammy nominee Shawn Mullins after contacting him on Myspace. Knocked out by her voice and songwriting, he agreed to produce her debut album 'Life In Full Colour' which was released in 2012 to great reviews. Playing live Callaghan performs on piano and guitar and delivers a vocal which earns frequent comparisons with artists like Sarah McLachlan and Emmy Lou Harris. Her songs share stories and emotions and deliver thoughtful lyrics, haunting vocals, and catchy melodies.

- LastMinuteBandz - Trauma UK 15/2/16
It's about time we added another band to our LastMinuteBandz roster here. Step forward Rock/Punk band Trauma UK from Witney, Oxfordshire. With their Punky-edged Rock style and drawing influences from T.Rex, The Exploited, The Sex Pistols, and even Led Zep/Pearl Jam - Trauma UK are out to make some noise and have fun doing it!! Formed originally in 1995 with then bass player Benny Szucs, Trauma UK quickly gained a local cult following with support slots for UK Subs and The Vibrators to name drop a few. A riotous performance in the Hollybush Pit saw guitarist Jim Maycock crash his Flying V into the wall causing an electrical blackout throughout Witney! Benny then left to join the Army .... and Trauma UK were no more. Fast Forward to early in 2014 and reforming with the original line up – and a noisy packed comeback gig with rising stars Twisted State of Mind, Trauma UK were back and louder than ever!!

Celebrated Blues Rock guitarist and singer-songwriter, Ben Poole, will release his new album, 'Time Has Come' via Manhaton Records on Friday 1st April. Produced by King King’s drummer, Wayne Proctor, the album dovetails Poole’s co-headline tour with Stevie Nimmo which started on 4th February. Already, Ben has been dubbed “amazing” by Jeff Beck, “really great” by the late Gary Moore, “ferocious” by Guitarist Magazine and “one to watch” by The Blues Magazine. “This album has a really nice overview of my style,” nods Ben, “covering everything from Rock and Blues to soul and pop, and even elements of funk and gospel. Artists we referenced frequently in the process were Robert Cray, Jonny Lang and John Mayer. I hope it’ll please the Blues-Rock guitar fans, but also have the depth and maturity to appeal to an audience beyond that.”
