Not only is 'Rock On The Ridge' the place for great Rock and Blues music every Saturday night from 8-10pm (UK Time) but this week they feature WRC Award winner and 2014 BluesFest star Robin Bibi. WRC members Jules and Bob always try to champion new bands and unsigned music on air - and if you have a band or tracks you would like to hear then why not drop them an e-mail or tweet them? We also hope to bring you the podcast of the show as our 'Track Of The Day' next week.

  • Jam Today - Leo's Next February! 25/11/15

Not only did SIMO support Walter Trout's first appearance in London for his first full show in over two years since his life-saving liver transplant at a packed out Forum last Saturday - but midway through his set Walter invited Danny Bryant on stage for an all out jam! Not only that, but Danny, who we saw at Ramblin' Man this year, will be touring in the UK in February 2016 and his itinerary includes a WRC Promotions gig at Leos Red Lion, Gravesend, on Sunday 28th February! More info to come but in the meantime you can book your tickets here.

  • Mountain Time! 16/11/15

This legendary power-rock band made its electrifying debut at Woodstock, in the summer of 1969. Thirty-five years and millions of album sales later, the line up still included the whiskeyvoiced singer/guitarist, Leslie West, and the incomparable Corky Laing on drums when the WRC saw them at the Mick Jagger Centre, Dartford, in 2005. Another ten years down the line, and with West doing his own thing (watch out for news of a new CD release later this week), we're at the iconic 100 Club in London to see "Corky Laing plays Mountain" supported by our buddies The Rainbreakers and Born Healer. Watch out for a review and more of John Bull's pics over the next few days - but in the meantime take a look at our Vid Of The Day recorded last night.

  • Cafe Culture! 28/10/15

The first time we saw Joanne Shaw Taylor was supporting Black Country Communion at the Shepherds Bush Empire at the end of 2010. Unlike BCC Joanne has obviously gone from strength to strength since! In May 2011 we saw her headline for the first time at the O2 Islington in May 2011 but admittedly missed her set at Ramblin' Man - hence our visit to the Jazz Cafe, Camden, last night for the second gig of her two night residency. Watch this space for a review and more pics - but in the meantime have a look at today's Vid Of The Day - taken live last night!

  • JV's Zep It Up! 12 September 2015

Nice to hear from our old mucker ex-Argent frontman John Verity who has recently remastered 'Zep It Up' which encaptures a couple of days spent recording these classics some twenty years ago! If you'd like to get hold of the new CD with JV having some fun with John Clark (drums), Dave Kinley (bass), ably assisted by Neil Gowland on acoustic and twelve string guitars then simply go here. Meanwhile JV's Band (see Our Vid Of The Day of their recent appearance at the Mold Blues & Soul Festival) are playing The Bear Club in Luton tonight at 8.30pm - expect plenty of Blues and even a bit of Argent and Zep maybe?

  • Ramblin' Man Fair - Saturday Review 31 July 2015

"Day one of the High Voltage reincarnation after four long years now known as Ramblin’ Man Fair took the WRC to the Garden of England and Mote Park in the heart of Kent's administrative capital Maidstone to be exact. There is no doubt that High Voltage has been badly missed by us Wrinkly Rockers so there was a lot of fascination on how well this brand new event organised by The Rock Collective and TeamRock featuring Classic Rock, Progressive Rock and Country and Blues music would go.. Never missing a trick, the WRC (well AJ actually) had been in discussion with the organisers for some time and after some delicate negotiations the Club had been provided with some Press passes as well. So AJ, Wrinkly the Silver and photographer John Bull gobbled those up giving unlimited roaming capability. Very useful!! AJ was preoccupied with pre-birthday events so the Saturday posse consisted of Silver, Wrinkly the Biker and his mate Rob and of course John to take his usual superb photos." Go here for the rest of Wrinkly The Silver's review, here for our Saturday photo gallery plus have a gander at Video Of The Day from Sunday!
