    Taking place again this Summer at Mt Ephraim Gardens in Faversham, Kent, over the long weekend of 15th to 17th August, A New Day Festival has followed up its success in 2022 by again winning our 2024 WRC Best Festival award, and in order to celebrate, today's 'A New Day 2025 Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day feature six of the great bands taking part in 2025, namely Mostly Autumn, Lifesigns, Sons Of Liberty, The Emerald Dawn, Voodoo Lake and The Fierce & The Dead.

    Wayne Osmond, lead guitarist of the American family music group The Osmonds, sadly passed away on New Year's Day at the age of 73, and in tribute, todays's Video Of The Day recalls their brief transition in 1972 from Bubblegum Pop to Rock, with their classic album title track, 'Crazy Horses', that's been covered by many including Metallica and is apparently one of Ozzy Osbourne's favourite Rock songs of all time.

    At the beginning of 2024 we saw enigmatic, hard-working Rock band, Hillbilly Vegas, not only at London's O2 Academy Islington (pictured), as special guests on Thunder guitarist Luke Morley's six-date tour, but we also caught them headlining in their own right in the UK as well in February and July, ending a breakthrough year with storming sets at both Planet Rockstock and WinterStorm festivals, and consequently Oklahoma's finest have been voted 'Best Support' in our 2024 WRC awards, so check out today's anthemic 'Shake It Like A Hillbilly' Video Of The Day, filmed at the Glasgow Cathouse leg in January.
