Ruby Tiger will be popping in to Croydon Radio tonight for a chat from 5pm here with Richard Dunning, ahead of her show with Ruby & The Revelators at The Tuesday Night Music Club, c/o Hooley Village Club, St Margaret's Road, Hooley Village, Coulsdon, Surrey, CR5 3RB. Not only that but Richard will also be exclusively revealing the six finalists in the 'Band Of The Year' category in this years British Blues Awards which the TNMC is sponsoring this year! No doubt bands across Britain will be listening in with fingers crossed that they'll be amongst the chosen few! And you should be listening too as it'll be your vote that chooses who wins!

Yes all roads finally lead to BluesRockfest at The Red Lion, Gravesend, today with our first band The Rainbreakers taking the stage at 3.30pm. Of course our headliner - who is sponsored by Ramblin' Man Fair - is the brilliant 2014 WRC Award winner Chantel McGregor who is on stage at 9.30pm. In 2011 Chantel was voted ‘YoungArtist of the Year’ at the British BluesAwards and in 2012 she was voted ‘Best Female Vocalist’. In 2013 she won two categories, ‘Guitarist Of TheYear’ and ‘Best Female Vocalist’, and again won the ‘Guitarist Of The Year’ category in 2014! Her debut album ‘Like No Other’, released in 2011, was produced by Livingstone Brown, who has worked with such artists as EdSheeran, Shakira, Kylie Minogue and Corinne Bailey Rae. Thanks to all of you that have already taken the time to vote in our 2015 WRC Awards. Today we focus our attention on best support with The Rainbreakers (Vid Of The Day), Born Healer (pictured) and The Replicants. If you have not voted yet, then simply choose your favourite from each of the eleven categories provided here and hit the vote button. You have until midnight 31st December to make your choice and only one vote per category per e-mail address is allowed - so there. So what are you waiting for? Aussie sci-fi shredders Aversions Crown are back touring in January after a busy 2015 that saw them tour the UK with the likes of Thy Art Is Murder and Within The Ruins. Aversions Crown's Nuclear Blast debut Tyrant, was released in late 2014; it was created in the oppressive heat of Brisbane’s summer with Thy Art Is Murder’s Andy Marsh producing and Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, Carnifex) of Audio Hammer mixing. 2016 will see Aversions Crown play to UK audiences for their first ever headline run on British soil: Jan 11th – Bournemouth, Anvil - Jan 12th – Glasgow, Ivory Blacks - Jan 13th – Birmingham, Rainbow - Jan 14th – Plymouth, Hub - Jan 15th – London, Boston Music Rooms.

And talking of 'Corky Laing Plays Mountain' - one of our biggest regrets of the night was not videoing Born Healer's (pictured) monster cover of Zep's 'Since I've Been Loving You' which made one young lady's evening - i.e. the fact Born Healer covered it - not that we didn't record it! Anyway it's that particular WRC Member's **th birthday today so our Vid Of The Day is dedicated to her - taken from the awesome 'The Song Remains The Same'. Happy Birthday!

That's right - all the bids are now in and The Replicants Wrinklystock IV Classic Covers setlist has now been finalised here - raising a stonking £265 in aid of our nominated charities! Also as expected the gig headlined by T.Rextasy at the Mick Jagger Centre, Dartford, on Saturday 21st November has now sold out! Further good news is that The Replicants will be rounding off their set with Billy Idol's (pictured at the Royal Albert Hall in July) Rebel Yell which is today's Vid Of The Day!

The pace doesn't slacken as the WRC are heading to the O2 Arena, London, tonight to see Irish Rockers U2 on the latest leg of their innocence and experience tour. To be fair - a band not always on the WRC radar - but a 'bucket list' band that we feel we need to witness once. Formed back in 1976 in Dublin they have since released 13 studio albums and are one of the world's best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 170 million records worldwide. And the good news is that the guys are playing in 'the round' tonight plus the possibility of another special guest following Noel Gallagher's appearance via the Jubilee Line on Monday night (see our Vid Of The Day). Anyway, we hope to meet some of you in the Sky Backstage lounge beforehand!

2014 WRC Award WinnersFlying Colors (our Track Of The Day) will be releasing the electrifying ‘Second Flight: Live At The Z7’ on 13th November via Music Theories Recordings/Mascot Label Group on multiple formats. On only the eighth show of their 2014 fall tour, they took to the stage at Switzerland’s storied Z7 venue and captured on film a breathtaking live performance.
