- Introducing ....... Steelyard 6 March 2015
Both our 'Track Of The Day' and our 'Introducing .....' feature are dedicated today to Steelyard - a band formed after the success of the Steelyard Blues Duo when they decided to expand and include a rhythm section to give them greater variety and add other dimensions to their sound. With Sara Cotton on vocals and guitar, they are influenced by Joplin, Mayall, Clapton, Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Allman Brothers and Gallagher. Steelyard has been extremely successful and the band has gigged at many European Blues Festivals particulary in the UK, Holland and Germany. - Introducing ..... Phillip Foxley 28 Feb 2015
It's becoming more and more apparent to us at Wrinkly Towers that our members are certainly a talented lot. Take for example North Wales based UK songwriter/guitarist Phillip Foxley who is todays 'Introducing ...' feature and is also our 'Track Of The Day'. Phil has a long background of musical experience spanning back to the 1970’s where he got his start not only gaining experience live on stage but as an accomplished studio session player as well. With an influence ranging in diversity from David Bowie to Black Sabbath to Mountain along with a number of the Blues greats, he has formed his own signature sound of Blues/Rock music. He has recently released a home studio demo EP sampler entitled 'One Song Is All You Need..' and his intention is to release a professionally recorded debut album early this year.

- The Colour Purple - Part 1 25 July 2015
"I wasn't sure to expect when AJ kindly bribed me with a free ticket to this gig at the Orchard. I am not a massive fan of tribute bands although we have had some very good ones at the last few Wrinklystock’s I must admit.. The Beatlez, Bon Giovi and of course the brilliant Bohemians from last year's gig spring to mind.. Then of course I suddenly remembered that Purple Zeppelin had run away with the WRC tribute band award in 2012. So I thought they would be pretty good..And I wasn't wrong in the slightest.."
