During a week where both the 2016 Euros footie continues and Mr. Rockrpix was deservedly mentioned in despatches by Sari Schorr no less - it was perhaps fate that Mr. Bull contacted us recommending Croatian Blues! - Better Late Than Never! 28/4/16
"So: There we were on Wednesday evening, heading towards the O2, a world class venue with a totally sorted sound system, to see ELO, completing a journey that you could say started last summer when Wrinkly organised a trip to Hampton Court to see an ELO tribute band which unfortunately, thanks to the incompetence of our national rail system, we never got to see! So when Wrinkly said he had a spare ticket to see the real thing I grabbed it with both hands!" Read the second of our Jeff Lynne ELO O2 Arena London review's here, check out our photo gallery from this Tuesday's gig here plus our Vid Of The Day - also from this Tuesday.

- Woke Up This Morning ..... 2 September 2015
Tonight Nazareth invade the Brooklyn Bowl, London, to give us all a little Hair of the Dog. At their peak, they were huge, selling vast quantities of albums and hit singles, pulling in enormous crowds to their shows all over the world. Like all the best bands, Nazareth came from humble roots. They formed in Dunfermline, Scotland, and played the Scottish clubs throughout the 1960’s in their original incarnation as The Shadettes. The name change to Nazareth came in 1970 and in 1971 the band moved to London to start what was to become a long and illustrious recording career. 2015 sees them back on the road featuring new singer Carl Sentance (ex-Geezer Butler Band and Krokus), standing proudly alongside founder member Pete Agnew (bass) and long time band members Jimmy Murrison (guitar) and Lee Agnew (drums).
