A Thousand Horses have released their brand new single ‘Preachin’ to the Choir’ (today's Track Of The Day) and it's the first to be taken from their forthcoming second album, due for release on BMLG Records later this year. ‘Preachin’ To The Choir’ embodies ATH’s Southern Rock roots and contemporary Country mix, with Michael Hobby’s husky vocals enhanced by Bill Satcher and Zach Brown on guitar and Graham Deloach on bass. The new single is a fitting follow-up to their 2015 debut album 'Southernality', which was released to great critical acclaim in the UK and featured their US chart-topping single ‘Smoke’. That track saw them become the first band to send their debut single to No. 1 on Billboard Country Airplay Charts this decade. The video has now had close to 17 million views!
- Michael Schenker "Fest Live" Review 15/3/17
"After getting his career trajectory very much back on track with the ‘Temple of Rock’ studio releases and some well-received live shows, Michael Schenker has returned to his MSG roots and ‘Michael Schenker Fest Live’ is a Classic Rock case of all the pieces coming together and all the (Rock) stars aligning for a 21st century revisit of what was, and remains, some of the finest and most successful musical moments of Schenker’s career under his own name - the original Michael Schenker Group era (1980 to 1984) and later McAuley Schenker Group (1986 to 1993)." - Class Is Permanent 14/3/17
"Vocalist Reed, a hybrid of a sweaty Buster Bloodvessel with the facial expressions of Wilko Johnson, eased us in, or "starting slow" as Dan put it, with the groovy late 80's feel of 'Get To You' and the driving riff of 'Divided' from 'FAD', before the party really got going with Inglorious front man Nathan James joining Reed early doors for a blistering cover of Kiss classic 'Rock And Roll All Nite'. With fans from as far and wide as Norway and Italy in attendance, the network went into overdrive as the DRN faithful lapped up the energy plus the twists and turns of the set, which was no more evident than with 90's favourite 'Baby Now I', which included a classic mid-section medley of covers including Kiss's 'I Was Made For Lovin' You', Metallica's 'Enter The Sandman' and FGTH's 'Relax', before hatted bassist Melvin Brannon II smoothly stepped up to the mic with Earth Wind & Fire's 'Let's Groove'." - The Cold Sun 13/3/17
Liverpool based experimental Rock/Metal band Loathe have announced details about their upcoming debut album, ‘The Cold Sun’, which will be released via SharpTone Records on Friday 14th April. On the same day, the band will celebrate with a special album release show at Liverpool's O2 Academy 2. 'The Cold Sun’ signifies a forceful and shrewd testimony as the quintet nail their colours to the mast with this resolute mission statement; an ode to the times we’re living in and the murky future that we all find ourselves faced with. ‘The Cold Sun’ is a concept record; a compelling 35 minute long meandering into the depths of a dark, post-apocalyptic tale. The record follows the adjacent timeline of two protagonists, who exist during a dystopian future, stricken by tragedy and the ever looming apocalypse.

- Same Sun Same Moon 12/3/17
Today's Track Of The Day is Little Hurricane's stunning and brilliantly shot video for 'OTL', taken from their upcoming new album 'Same Sun Same Moon', out on Friday 14th April 14th via Mascot Records. Anthony “Tone” Catalano (guitar/vocals) and Celeste “C.C.” Spina's (drums/vocals) story began in San Diego, where Little Hurricane formed. Having recently resumed playing drums after an eight-year hiatus, C.C. placed a musicians-wanted ad on Craigslist. Among the myriad of respondents was Tone, a studio engineer who’d worked with artists ranging from John Paul Jones to Gwen Stefani. The two musicians were neighbours who had never met, and bonded over mutual interests including the Blues, unusual and vintage gear, and their individual experiences playing in high school jazz bands. A year later, Little Hurricane won three San Diego Music Awards, including Album of the Year for 2011 debut 'Homewrecker'.
