Following the release of her latest album 'Never Say Never', New York born Sari Schorr will be playing London’s iconic 100 Club this Friday 18th January as part of London Blues Week with Sharrie Williams – The Princess of Rockin’ Gospel Blues. Sari will be closing the co-headline show at the Central London club, so beat the Winter Blues and don’t miss the force of nature that is Sari Schorr! Indeed, Sari insisted that the new album be recorded live to capture the raw energy of her music. Her songs are highly crafted with vibrant lyrics that highlight just how good Sari is at invoking passion, grit, and empathy.

Saint Apache release their strong four-track EP 'Black Days' on Friday 22nd February featuring 'Amongst Vultures', 'The Shameful', 'Strive to Survive' and 'Tory Man' - today's ferally-energetic Video Of The Day. There’s energy, anger and conviction in these here tracks, as well as in-the-moment performance and skilled musicianship: Thom Meredith’s raw vocals riding over Adam Oarton’s driving drums, Leo Burdett’s soaring lead guitar and Ross Towner’s powerful bass. Last June the band headlined and tore up the Platform 1 stage at the Isle of Wight Festival, then in November, took that high-octane vibrancy to Manchester, opening for Pitchshifter’s 20th Anniversary gig, and continue to go from strength to strength.

Chantel was a fitting headliner who brought what was an incredible day to a close and we’re still pinching ourselves that we managed to get her." Well tonight Chantel has the honour of kicking off London Blues Week at the iconic 100 Club tonight with support from Jawbone.

'The End Of Chaos' is far, far from the end! Flotsam and Jetsam - the 2016 album - saw a band firing on all cylinders, writing/performing years younger than a band with three decades of power and glory notched on their bullet belts. 'The End Of Chaos', due to be released this Friday, is loaded with twelve crushing songs that clock in at nearly fifty minutes, so for traditional thrashers there is plenty bone to chew on. Like a prize-fighter that refuses to kneel down, Flotsam And Jetsam (Track Of The Day) tread onward with black eyes and bloody noses. It’s the youthful exuberance and a certain "we don’t give a flying fuck about age or time" mentality. And the kinetic energy that they exude on stage is quite contrary to their street persona.

This coming Friday, Mascot Records will be reissuing Torque’s 1996 stand-alone self-titled album which features former Machine Head/Vio-lence guitarist Phil Demmel. The album includes four bonus tracks and as well as CD, will be released on vinyl and digitally for the first time. It was 1994 when one of the San Francisco Bay Area thrash scenes leading lights Vio-lence called it a day following the departure of vocalist Sean Killian who retired and Rob Flynn who went on to form Machine Head. From that band, the remaining members formed the riff heavy, groove infused thrashers Torque (Track Of The Day). Fronting the band, guitarist Phil Demmel also took on lead vocals for the first time and along with guitarist Ray Vegas, bassist Deen Dell and with drummer Mark Hernandez joining they created a formidably crushing four-way vocal assault with a tank like heaviness that was to burn brightly, but briefly.

The exciting prospect of Frankie Miller's music being reinvigorated by some of the country's finest musicians, totally dedicated to the works of Frankie, is on the horizon, thanks to Full House. Led by Ray Minhinnett on guitar, a founding member of the original Full House with Frankie, touring extensively with the great man and playing on all of his classic tracks, Ray is joined by Steve Simpson on guitar, formerly of The Miller Band, Terry 'Tex' Comer provides the essentially cool grooves on bass guitar and Andy Golden, formerly of The Pirates and Eric Bell's Thin Lizzy adds the perfect touch to a remarkable rhythm section. If you're now thinking what about the vocals; then rest assured Gregor MacGregor, a fellow Glaswegian, has got this covered in spades. Discovered by an old mate of Ray's who found him singing in a bar in Glasgow and had to send Ray a video. All agreed this is as close a vocal delivery as you are going to get to Frankie's!

John Diva & the Rockets of Love, an exuberant Rock ‘N’ Roll (with a capital ‘N’) quintet who bring a breath of fresh air to eighties style classic Rock music, release their consummate debut album, ‘Mama Said Rock Is Dead’, on Friday 8th February on Steamhammer/SPV. Today's Video Of The Day ‘Lolita’, the soaring first single from the album, released last November, is a glorious taster of the twelve classy compositions contained on this superlative collection. Packed with anthemic choruses, smooth riffs and supersonic guitar solos, ‘Mama Said Rock Is Dead’ is a magnificent melodic Metal triumph which more than belies the album’s tongue-in-cheek title. The rightful heirs of an era in which Van Halen, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Scorpions, Guns N`Roses and Mötley Crüe rocked the world and rampaged the planet; John Diva is charged US entertainment at its very best.

Burning Rain is the Hard Rock band founded in 1998 by guitarist extraordinaire Doug Aldrich (Revolution Saints, The Dead Daisies, ex-Whitesnake, Dio) and vocalist Keith St. John (Montrose, Kingdom Come). They will release their fourth studio album, ‘Face the Music’ on Friday 22nd March via Frontiers Music srl and have made a first single from the record available to coincide with its announcement, which is today's Video Of The Day. ‘Face The Music’ is a Blues driven Hard Rock record and is a true tour-de-force. With a renewed line-up featuring the amazing Blas Elias (Slaughter) on drums and bassist Brad Lang (Y&T), the album evokes the classic 70’s Hard Rock scene, but also stays true to the band's sound. One thing is for certain, Burning Rain has made the long wait for new music well worth it.

Killing Giants originate from the sleepy seaside town of Margate in Kent - but with their anthemic Rock, heartfelt lyrics, big hooks and soaring riffs - their sound is anything but sleepy. A mixture of all that is good in the Rock world right now ....... think of The Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro and Royal Blood all in a big melting pot ....... and your half way there to Killing Giants. Currently unsigned, the band are aiming to release their new EP 'State Of You' on Thursday 25th April with a release show date still to be announced. The EP will be available across all major digital platforms and limited CD's will also be available, which includes 'Take This Heart' (today's Track Of The Day) which was released a few months ago and is available on their Bandcamp store for download.

John Lodge, legendary bass player, songwriter and vocalist of The Moody Blues and recent inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, brings his “The Moody Blues’ John Lodge: The 10,000 Light Years Tour” to the UK for selected dates in April –including Milton Keynes Stables on Friday 12th and London Cadogan Hall the night after, with more dates to be announced. The tour will support Lodge’'s 'Live from Birmingham' album which was released in October 2017 and features his classic Moody Blues hits, together with a selection of solo work from the 2015 studio album '10,000 Light Years Ago'. John will appear with his ’10,000 Light Years Band’, and together they capture the heart of classic Moody Blues songs he has penned and recorded.

Suzi Quatro more than lives up to her name as the “Queen Of Rock N' Roll”. The American musician has been in the music business for more than 50 years, delivering her greatest hits such as ‘Can The Can’, ‘48 Crash’, ‘If You Can't Give Me Love’, 'She's In Love With You' and ‘Devil Gate Drive’ with unbridled energy. Friday 29th March will see the arrival of her new studio album 'No Control' on SPV/Steamhammer, with the lead single ‘No Soul/No Control’ scheduled for release on Friday 15th February. Suzi has recorded eleven new songs (plus two bonus tracks) on her new album, of which she plans to debut a couple of tracks amongst her greatest hits during her major UK/Australian/European tour this year including London's Wembley SSE Arena on Thursday 11th April.
