Following on from her amazing Blues stage set at Ramblin' Man Fair on the Sunday, we had the pleasure of interviewing Britain's very own Queen of the Blues, Elles Baileyhere, which is also today's Track Of The Day. It’s been one hell of a busy year for the super-smoky-voiced, hard-working and far-touring chanteuse. This March, she released her eagerly-anticipated second album ‘Road I Call Home’ to rave reviews, with the album charting in the UK Country Charts at number 13, in the UK Americana Charts at number 24 and reaching number 1 on the Amazon Blues Bestseller chart. Shortly after Ramblin' Man, Elles also released her latest single ‘Deeper’ which is today's Video Of The Day. Later this year, she will be a special guest of Martin Harley, will also be supporting The Kris Barras Band.in October and will be extending her UK tour in November/December! Finally, next month, Bailey has also been invited to the House Of Songs songwriting summit in Arkansas USA, and will also be showcasing at the Americana Fest in Nashville.

From 4pm till 9pm today, Camden Rocks presents another all-day Rock-n-Roll gig featuring Midnight Mouth + The Offdays + The Road Atlas + Black Surf + Third Lung - all live at The Monarch. Meanwhile, at 2pm today Eddie Angel Blues Band take to the stage at Blues At Barleylands, Barleylands Social Club, Barleylands Road, Billericay, Essex CM11 2UF. The Londoners, consisting of Eddie Angel - guitar/vocals, Laurence Garman - harmonica, Matt Redford - double bass and Loris Peverani - drums, play Blues music from the golden age of the 1950's played as was meant to be heard - controlled and swinging without the Blues Rock stylings that typify many of today's offerings in the so called Blues genre!

StoneWire will release their long-awaited album 'Life As We Know It' on Friday 1st November plus have also premiered 'FTM' their first video single from the album which is today's Video Of The Day. StoneWire draw from many wells - fusing elements of Classic Rock, Blues and Southern Rock to create a melting pot of addictive melody and biting riffs. Together, frontwoman Sky Hunter's soaring powerhouse Rock vocals and gravely Blues tones and StoneWire's conscious whole-band chemistry and synergy, all give the brew a distinctive tang that has built up their fan following. London-based independent promotion collective Chaos Theory will celebrate their 10th anniversary with Chaos Theory Festival on Saturday 29th February 2020 at The Dome and Boston Music Room. The first wave of bands to be announced are; heavy, weird & soulful, Afro-Futuristic outfit Vodun, Welsh Cosmic-Doom Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard and avant-garde Dark Rock ensemble Gold. They are joined by exhilarating and electric instrumentalists Alpha Male Tea Party and Memory of Elephants, while Italian noise artist Mai Mai Mai will play their first ever UK show featuring Simne Donadni. They’ll be announcing more bands over the coming months but in the meantime you can buy earlybird, first release and afterparty tickets here.

With their legendary debut album, ‘Want Some’, having become a classic of the early 90’s Hard Rock scene, Memphis, Tennessee Hard Rockers Roxy Blue are back next Friday 9th August with their first album of new material in 27 years (see today's Video Of The Day). Original members Todd Poole (vocals), Josh Weil (bass) and Scotty Trammell (drums) are now joined by guitarist Jeffrey Wade Caughron, after Sid ‘Boogie’ Fletcher left the music business for a successful career in dentistry. Formed in 1989, Roxy Blue played every gig they could to get themselves noticed in the Memphis scene. Crammed together in a studio apartment above Cotton Row Studios in the city, they were constantly writing and recording songs and living a 24-hour Rock 'n' Roll lifestyle many miles away from the Sunset Strip of Los Angeles. Swiftly selling out club shows and creating a buzz, legendary A&R guru Tom Zutaut flew the band to LA to sign them, with Guns N’ Roses producer Mike Clink chosen to produce their debut album. Clink and Roxy Blue clicked and the result was 1992’s ‘Want Some’.

"Back on the Outlaw stage was one of the best sets of the day - courtesy of The Allman Betts Band. Led by Devon Allman, son of founding Allman Brothers Band keyboardist and singer, Gregg Allman, and Duane Betts, son of founding Allman Brothers Band guitarist and singer, Dickey Betts, the band play the sort of Country Rock that gave the festival (sorry, fair...) its name. And they are all truly chips off the old block. Mmmm, chips..... The line up is awash with talent with three guitarists, two percussionists, keys and bass. With assorted guitars played through Fender amps, the distinctive Southern slide sound was divine. As well as covering some well known family classics, and some of their own new material, they covered 'Purple Rain' and brought on Black Stone Cherry's Ben Wells for one helluva Southern Blues rock jam. I could have stayed and watched them all day. Quite mesmerising." That was our Allman Betts BandRamblin' Man Fair review from the Saturday, and later at the back of the Main stage we caught up with Devon Allman, Duane Betts and Berry Oakley for an interview here which is also today's Track Of The Day. Sadly, this Monday, Devon underwent appendectomy surgery and the guys had to cancel their final three UK and European concerts including London's Shepherd's Bush Empire this coming Saturday 3rd August. We wish Devon a speedy recovery.

Danny Vaughn is recognised worldwide for his melodic, powerful and emotional vocals, and today's Video Of The Day is his latest single, 'Shadow of King John', taken from his latest solo album: his first in eleven years. It's the solo album this talented singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and storyteller always wanted to make and 'Myths, Legends and Lies', released via Townsend Music last month, is a 14-track album that turned out to be an epic quest in its making and rare treasure at its release. To lovers of Rock, Danny is best-known for his involvement with Waysted (1985-1987) and famed for his flourishing voice-work with Melodic Rockers Tyketto. Now, this To coincide with the album's release, Danny will also be undertaking a new UK tour including London's Black Heart in Camden on Thursday 22nd August.

Aussie groove masters Ocean Alley recently released their brand new single ‘Infinity’ (today's Video Of The Day), the dreamy follow-up to their most recent cut ‘Stained Glass’. Premiered by Billboard in the US, the track came in the midst of the band’s North American tour, providing yet another taste of their infectious brand of genre-fusing bliss. Hailing from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, the six-piece consisting of Baden Donegal (vocals), Angus Goodwin (guitar), Nic Blom (bass), Lach Galbraith (keys/vocals), Mitch Galbraith (guitar) and Tom O’Brien (drums), the band will spend the rest of the Australian Winter months in Europe, playing 18 shows across the continent including an appearance at Budapest’s world-renowned Sziget Festival and a sold out headline show at London’s iconic Electric Ballroom on Tuesday 27th August.

In 2010, Theatre Of Tragedy announced their break-up and drew a line under their impressive career with 'Last Curtain Call'. Earlier this month, the Norwegian Gothic Rock band returned with a compilation of different remixes of their biggest successes - 'Remixed' - a collection of very different reimagined versions of some of their best known, and not so well known songs from throughout their career. Indeed, in the mid 90's, Theatre Of Tragedy's uniqueness wrote themselves into music history with albums like 'Velvet Darkness They Fear' and 'Aegis'. Never before had a band combined a dark male voice with a charming, bright female voice to this extent, creating such an extraordinary diversity of dark and atmospheric shades that ultimately contributed to making Gothic Rock/Metal so popular around the globe.
