A New Tomorrow (Video Of The Day) get to share the next chapter in their evolution via their debut full-length album 'Universe' released earlier this month. Formed in London by vocalist/guitarist Alessio Garavello (ex-Powerquest and Arthemis) and bassist Andrea Lonardi, with drummer Tim Hall and guitarist Michael Kew joining later, the band have taken their time honing their sound into the potent mix of uplifting, hard-hitting, Melodic Hard Rock. Harnessing influences from the likes of Alter Bridge, Foo Fighters, Metallica and Green Day, they offer fast and furious riffing coupled with super Melodic hook lines and have an original take on the Hard Rock genre that makes them a breath of fresh air. The band’s love for life and go-getter attitude, both on and off stage, complete the picture of one of the hottestacts to emerge from the UK underground in recent times. We're well overdue another 'Introducing ....' feature and with Wrinklystock 8 just eleven days away, today we're indebted to new WRC member Julian Newton, who we met at Marillion's Royal Albert Hall gig last week, for pointing us in the direction of The AutistiX (today's Video Of The Day). The music video speaks for itself, but as well as their home base in London, they perform in the rest of the UK and abroad, having played in a number of other countries, they are keen to reach more people who would love their music and also to influence people through their mission to encourage people to value them and thereby appreciate the qualities and talents of musicians with autism and other disabilities.

The Wood Brothers have released 'Cry Over Nothing' (today's Track Of The Day) - the second single from the Nashville-based trio's forthcoming studio album, 'Kingdom In My Mind' - which is due out next year on Friday 24th January on Honey Jar/Thirty Tigers. 'Cry Over Nothing' is accompanied by the addition of 18 shows to the band's extensive 2020 U.S. tour, with the album being recorded over a series of freewheeling, improvised sessions, ultimately resulting in The Wood Brothers' most spontaneous and experimental work yet. 'Kingdom In My Mind' follows The Wood Brothers' most recent studio release, 2018's 'One Drop Of Truth', which hit #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and garnered the band their first Grammy Award nomination for "Best Americana Album".

Heavy Rock, Progressive and Alternative Metal outfit Godsticks have announced details of their new studio album ‘Inescapable’ which is set for release on Friday 7th February next year, and the band have shared their first single ‘Denigrate’ which is today's Video Of The Day that features vocals from TesseracT’s Daniel Tompkins. The band's sound has refined over their releases on Kscope, and now with 'Inescapable', Godsticks have channelled their energy and technical ability into the melody, phrasing and vocal performance, allowing emotion to take centre stage. Consisting of Darran Charles - vocals, guitars, keys, synths, Dan Nelson - bass, Gavin Bushell - guitars and Tom Price - drums, the band will be supporting their new material with a four-date UK tour in April including London's Black Heart in Camden on Friday 3rd April, followed by some Summer festivals.

"Carry Me' sees Hobby lose the acoustic and Satcher reclaim the Les Paul as the rockometer rises once more. This is Southern Rock and Roll with keys, twin guitar harmonics and a fine solo from Satcher. Back to the new album and the title track brings us another acoustic guitar singalong that had me thinking of 'Copperhead Road'. It has that radio friendly feel and was well received. 'Sunday Morning', from their first album, had a strong key influence, reflecting the church where the song was written whilst 'Preaching To The Choir' has a slow groove intro into a chugging Country number that had the arms waving along." The Cardiff based Rock and Soul band, fronted by vocalist Sally Ann Evans, along with effusive guitar player Chris Buck, drummer Bob Richards and bassist Dominic Hill, released their sumptuous debut album, ‘Write A Better Day’ on Friday 15th November, which sees them creating a perfect blend of youthful energy and traditionalism, on eleven finely crafted songs.

"If the aptly named 'Power' truly epitomised Hogarth's stage presence, then 'Beyond You', taken from 1995's 'Afraid Of Sunlight' duly emphasised Trewavas' outstanding bass guitar credentials. Roars of approval welcomed the opening bars of the title track of 1989's 'Seasons End', the very first album to feature Hogarth, the frontman duly celebrating his pearl anniversary by getting behind a keyboard, complemented by the big man doing what he does best with another effortless solo, while the audience deliriously clapped along, morphing into yet another standing ovation. A bit of banter with the crowd, saw the MC for the evening, Hogarth, tell one friendly heckler to "shut up - I'm talking", before Steve thanked the sextet (violins, viola, cello, flute, french horn), whom not only added depth to the overall sound but also made a couple of sections really different and special."
