    Twenty one years after we saw them headline The Isle Of Wight Festival alongside The Who and David Bowie, last Wednesday Chris Griffiths attended Banquet Records 'Unplugged and Intimate with Stereophonics' at London's Pryzm in Kingston, following the release in April of their brand-new eight-track studio album, 'Make ‘em Laugh, Make ‘em Cry, Make ‘em Wait', so check out today's 'Dakota' Video Of The Day, a stripped back encore filmed by Chris on the night. Featuring an incredible eight-song setlist as well as a brief Q&A, the quartet continue an incredible twenty-nine year recording legacy as one of the UK’s most loved bands, with frontman Kelly Jones cementing his place amongst the great British songwriters.

    Coming at you from the vibrant cornucopia of the ever-expanding music scene in Brighton, in March last year heavy brooding, Rock n’ Rollin’, Stone Angels, armed to the teeth with a flurry of sledgehammer riffs, colossal choruses and unabashed wailing solos, released their explosive sophomore album, 'Up In Smoke', a collection of nine hard-hitting songs, of which the title track has just been released as a single and is today's Video Of The Day. Having been likened to such household names as Queens of The Stone Age and Soundgarden, the soaring four-piece have already shared stages with Kris Barras Band, Skindred and Ricky Warwick, taking inspiration from Classic UK and LA Rock, as well as Seattle's iconic Grunge scene, and this year sees their very first European festival appearance at Switzerland's Summerside alongside Airbourne, Billy Idol and Royal Republic.

  • The Lamb Stands Up Live 1/6/25

    A special evening that saw his band joined by guests including Ray Wilson, Steve Rothery, Amanda Lehmann and his brother John, on Friday 11th July Steve Hackett releases ‘The Lamb Stands Up Live At The Royal Albert Hall’, a stunning audio/visual document of his show at this iconic London venue last October, of which the band's performance of ‘The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway’ is today's Video Of The Day. Comprising twenty-five tracks, as well as an interview with Steve, that night Hackett not only celebrated the 50th anniversary of the legendary Genesis concept album ‘The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway’, with a selection of his favourite tracks such as ‘Fly On A Windshield’ and ‘Lilywhite Lilith’, but the live set also featured other Genesis songs as well as the guitarist's solo classics, including music from his latest acclaimed album, ‘The Circus And The Nightwhale’.
