- Thursday Rocks! 26/6/25
Recommended by our WRC correspondent Oz, and originally known as “The Dogshark Blues Band”, this Yorkshire outfit's natural inclination towards Rock with a heavy Blues influence, such as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and The Doors, saw them consciously move away from the more Trad Blues scene, and last October, exactly two years after their formation, and now known simply as Dogshark, they released their lucky thirteen-track debut album, 'Earth is Not Room Enough', of which their very first album single, 'Blockchain', is also one of today's six of the best 'Thursday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from Vazum, Mihrax, Nightblade, Heartkiller and We Lost The Sea.

- Mick Ralphs 25/6/25
We were there at Charlton in May 1974, as well as being present when the legendary Bad Company guitarist guested for Lynyrd Skynyrd at London's Hammersmith Apollo in April 2015 (pictured), where Mick even "liked" our review, and then at London's O2 for their 'Swan Song' tour in October 2016, although tragically because of his stroke soon after, he wasn't there when we saw his classic Mott The Hoople lineup reform at Maidstone's Ramblin' Man in July 2018, so following the sad news on Monday that this singer-songwriter had passed away at the age of 81, today we let Mick Ralphs iconic music do all the talking, as we go back 51 years to that gloriously sunny day at The Valley, and their storming nine-song set list, which is today's Video Of The Day.
- Wednesday Rocks! 25/6/25
A bold, melodic track that captures the band’s Indie-Rock swagger, Explode The TV’s new single, 'Stratosphere', bursts with energy, blending soaring vocals, Post-Punk urgency, and dreamy Shoegaze guitars with a driving rhythm, so it’s no surprise that this standout Summer anthem, produced by Steve Barnard, has been picked out as one of today's six of the best 'Wednesday Rocks!' Tracks of the Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from Crüzer, Vendetta Love, The Vintage Caravan, Crucial Velocity and Bang Bang Firecracker.
