We were lucky enough to see this iconic Australian Rock band during their world tour at London's Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith in July 2017 (pictured), so we were devastated to learn of the death on Monday of Midnight Oil drummer Rob Hirst at the age of 70, following a two year battle with pancreatic cancer. So for today's six of the best 'Thursday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, we let Rob's massive 'Beds Are Burning', which he co-wrote, do all the talking, along with five recent and forthcoming releases from Linkwells, All For Jolly, Leaves' Eyes, Stigma and Stråle.
