Today we’re playing catch up with our ‘six of the best’ Tracks Of The Day from albums that were released last month by Frontiers Music – the home for both established and emerging Rock and Metal artists. Similarly, for today’s Podcast Of The Day, we also catch up with our mate Bob Angel for his latest installment of ‘Simply Country’.

I’ve said before I am a great fan of complete album performances, and DT are no strangers to it themselves, with ‘Images and Words’ having had an ‘in full’ 25th anniversary outing in 2017, along with ‘The Astonishing’ on its promo tour in 2016.” With six winners still to be announced in our 2020 WRC Awards, that was part of our take on Dream Theater at London’s Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, last February, and the band, who are today's Video Of The Day, have deservedly won 'Best Prog' performance.

On the subject of the Blues, our Tracks Of The Day take us back to August 2013 and six of the best from our WRC Bluesfest at Leo's Red Lion in Gravesend. To be honest, it was a category which we had not envisaged being in our WRC 2020 Awards at the turn of the year! However, as they say, the rest is history and the winners of our 'Best Livestream' award in these unprecedented times, is the Lockdown Music Festival. Well done to them plus all of you who managed virtually to feed our love of live music despite Covid-19. However, at the same time, we pray for the resurrection of our Best Festival award this Summer!

"The white Tele is swapped for a similarly coloured Flying V for 'Colourblind' with a staccato guitar intro which leads into some choppy Pop Rock whereas 'Take Me Down' is a headbanging chugging Rock riff monster overlaid with Myke's intricate fingerpicking and full band backing on vocals." It seems a long time ago now, but that was part of our take here Myke Gray's Underworld Camden gig back in February, and Myke (Video Of The Day), Kim Jennett and his band, have consequently carried off our 'Best Rock Performance' award in our 2020 WRC Awards!

Writer, Comedian and Musician 9 December 1944, Danbury, England - 29 December 2019, Toulouse, France English writer, comedian and musician Neil Innes sadly died on Sunday at the age of 75. We fondly remember him firstly appearing in 1968 with the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band on the weekly Thames Television children's television series Do Not Adjust Your Set which also featured future Monty Python members Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam. As they say, the rest is history as he went on memorably to collaborate with Monty Python and also played in The Rutles. Today's Track Of The Day is dedicated to Neil - filmed at Monty Python's Live at the Hollywood Bowl in 1982.
