    Formed in 2019, Blues Rock quartet Tom Davies & The Bluebirds were nominated and went on to become finalists in the Emerging Band of the Year category at the UK Blues Awards in 2025, and on Friday 10th April they release their eleven-track debut album 'Angel On The Mississippi', written and arranged by Tom, so see today not only Ivan De Mello's review but also watch today's Video Of The Day of the album track 'You're Gonna Wreck My Life'.

    For fans of Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith and Motley Crue, tonight rambunctious South Wales hard rockers Sleazy Money play their 'Sink Or Swim' Single Release Show at Treforest's Green Rooms, of which this dirty, bluesy Rock n Roll track about getting shitfaced and grafting women, is today's self produced (in a photobooth), tongue in cheek, Video Of The Day. Formed in 2024 and hailing from the gritty streets of Merthyr Tydfil, the quartet are already turning heads with their raw, larger-than-life attitude and sound, drawing from ‘80s Glam-Metal and Sunset Strip sleaze, fusing high-octane riffs with anthemic hooks and a wild stage presence that’s impossible to ignore.

    Alongside mainstay founding members Ben, Jeff and Dana, plus the addition in 2023 of amazing new vocalist Travis Wills and guitarist Mark Borgmeyer, Crimson Glory release via BraveWords Records their first new album in 26 years on Friday 17th April, the nine-track 'Chasing The Hydra', making this album one of the most anticipated releases of 2026 within the Heavy Metal scene, of which the first single and title track is also one of today's six of the best 'Saturday Rocks!'     Co-founder and DJ of London's legendary Blitz Club, Rusty Egan is an icon of the UK and European Electronic Café scene and enthusiastically champions Electronica groups like Tiny Magnetic Pets (pictured), who you knew would be a class act recently, when they flew in especially to London from Dublin for a DJ set/gig at The Camden Club, so see today not only Denise Lester's review and photos from the night, but also watch Tiny Magnetic Pets' 'Modern World' Video Of The Day, filmed by Denise that very same evening.

  • Milkfest '26 Rocks! 26/2/26

    The timings (pictured) have been announced for Milkfest ’26, that takes place this coming Sunday at Indigo @ the O2 in Greenwich on 1st March, bringing some of the biggest names on the UK Blues scene for a one-day festival to raise money for The Dementia UK Charity, including Average White Band/McCartney/Pretenders legends Hamish Stuart & Robbie McIntosh and Blues Rock greats the Climax Blues Band, plus a special guest appearance by Elles Bailey, and today's 'Milkfest '26 Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day feature the other six artists taking part, namely festival founders The Milk Men, as well as returning to his local manor, Squeeze legend Chris Difford, UK Blues Band of the Year Brave Rival, Vocalist of the Year Alice Armstrong, Acoustic Act of the Year Mississippi MacDonald and UK Blues Challenge winner Errol Linton.
