    Endearingly known as 'Super Lungs' for his incredible voice, who also famously turned down Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, very sadly Terry Reid passed away yesterday at the age of 75 after a battle with cancer. Recounting fond memories of us seeing Terry sing 'White Room' at a tribute for Jack Bruce alongside Chris Spedding and Mick Taylor, as well as often performing at London's The Half Moon, today we let Terry's music and well renown banter do all the talking with today's 'Rich Kid Blues' Video Of The Day, filmed in Putney in November 2016.

    American Blues Rock guitarist Eric Gales is set to release his new album, a powerful and moving homage to his late brother Manuel Gales, on 'A Tribute To LJK', that's due to be released digitally on Friday 29th August as well as physically on Friday 24th October via Provogue, that includes guest appearances from Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith, and to celebrate, Eric has revealed his first single, 'Somebody', featuring Buddy Guy and Roosevelt Collier, which is also one of today's six of the best 'Tuesday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five other recent and forthcoming releases from Cane Rouge, Vibravoid, Vick LeCar, Fearful Symmetry and One Last Day.

    Math Rock? Noise? Metal? Jazz? French Avant Prog Metal quartet Ni, who delight in blurring the lines and confusing their audience, remaining true to their desire to go further in experimentation, are stopping off at London's 229 Great Portland Street next Tuesday 12th August for an intimate gig, before performing at Bristol's Arctangent Festival, so check out today's Video Of The Day of their entire set when they played Torino's Ziggy Club, at the beginning of this year. In support are Hats Off Gentleman It's Adequate, who combine Prog/Alt/Art-Rock with contemporary Classical, minimalist, Metal and Electronic elements, having earlier this year released their critically acclaimed eighth album, 'The Uncertainty Principle', plus solo artist TCM74 (Craig Murray from the band IAN), who will open the evening with a short experimental noise/drone set.
