    With his long awaited new album, 'The Fighter', set for release this year on Ear Music, highly regarded guitar player, singer and songwriter Simon McBride, is back next month with an explosive, emotive fret and face melting live show, for a thirteen date UK and Ireland tour alongside Dave Marks (bass) and Marty McCloskey (drums), and his new single/title track is today's Video Of The Day. Hailing from Belfast, the former Young Guitarist of The Year, and now fully-fledged Blues-Rock virtuoso, has toured with Joe Satriani, Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa and Grammy nominee Derek Trucks.

  • Tull Release TZG Title Track 16/1/22

    Their first studio album since 'Homo Erraticus' in 2014, British Progressive Rock luminaries Jethro Tull release their new studio album, 'The Zealot Gene', on Friday 28th January on Inside Out Music, and they have recently released their third single, and title track from the album, which is today's Video Of The Day. A record that began to take shape as early as 2017, ‘The Zealot Gene’, in many ways, seeks to defy convention during a time when the business of being a touring and recording artist has never faced more uncertainties. With more than 30 albums to their credit and sales totalling more than 50 million, the band, currently consisting of Ian Anderson - flute, acoustic guitar, harmonica, vocals, Joe Parrish-James - guitar, Florian Opahle - guitar (album only), Scott Hammond - drums, David Goodier - bass guitar and John O’Hara - piano, keyboards and accordion, are one of the most successful Rock bands of all-time, with a catalogue that contains classics that still resonate today.

    With Breaking Bands Fest taking place this year from Wednesday 1st to Sunday 5th June at Stoke Prior in Bromsgrove, just a reminder that organisers STMS have also organised another Music & Beer Festival at Umberslade Estate in Tanworth-In-Arden, over the weekend of 5th to 7th August, and today's Breaking Bands Rocks!     The Damn Truth, the critically acclaimed Montreal-based four-piece Rock band, embark on a 13-date UK tour next month, both supporting King King and headlining in their own right, and yesterday, in advance of the tour, they released their captivating new single, 'Only Love', which is accompanied by today's colourful and innovative Video Of The Day.   • Here Comes Funland Coyle 14/1/22

    Released on Wednesday, today's Video Of The Day is ‘Here Comes My Baby’, the latest single to be released from ‘Funland’, the forthcoming second solo album by New York City-based English singer-songwriter Coyle Girelli, which is due out on Friday 25th February. For fans of Richard Hawley, Lana Del Rey and Cigarettes After Sex, producer and multi-instrumentalist Girelli has previously fronted Alternative Rock bands Your Vegas and The Chevin. Based in Manhattan for the last decade, Coyle released his debut solo album, ‘Love Kills’, in late 2018, which was hailed Stateside, packed with timeless and cinematic guitar-based songs and balladry.
