  • Chelsea Bush Blues Today 28/5/22

    Today from 3pm, the third Chelsea Blues, Rhythm and Rock Festival takes place at the changed venue of Bush Hall, 310 Uxbridge Road, London W12 7LJ, with the running order of the six great band's recently announced as follows: headliner's BB King Blues Band 9.30-11pm (only UK show), The Cinelli Brothers 7.45-9pm, The Kendall Connection 6.25-7.25pm, Jimmy Regal And The Royals 5.15-6.05pm, Ryk Mead Band (who have kindly stepped in on short notice to replace Catfish, due to Paul in the band undergoing surgery) 4.05-4.55pm and Tin Rose (Video Of The Day) 3-3.50pm.

  • Alan White 1949 - 2022 27/5/22

    Considered to be one of the greatest Rock drummers of all time, Yes announced yesterday that Alan White, their much-loved drummer and friend of 50 years, had passed away peacefully at home, aged 72, after a short illness. Yes will dedicate their 50th Anniversary Close to the Edge UK Tour in June to White, where Alan’s journey with the band began in July 1972 for the Close to the Edge Tour (Video Of The Day). He had previously worked with John Lennon’s Plastic Ono band after a call, in 1969, to play at the Toronto Rock Festival. Alan continued working with Lennon including on the 'Imagine' album and with George Harrison on 'All Things Must Pass'. He also worked with several other musicians, over the years, including Ginger Baker’s Air Force, Joe Cocker, Gary Wright, Doris Troy and Billy Preston to name but a few. Alan White was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Yes in 2017.
