- Jimmy's Jumpin' For Joy 16/8/22
Working with producers Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith, to make an album worthy of his amazing career and talent, legendary vocalist Jimmy Hall will release 'Ready Now' via Keeping The Blues Alive Records on Friday 16th September, his highly anticipated and first new solo album of original material since 2007, of which his first single, the boogie and Blues of 'Jumpin' For Joy', is today's brilliant Video Of The Day. Hall first gained popularity as the lead vocalist, saxophonist and harmonica player for the band Wet Willie, emerging from Mobile, Alabama. His unique brand of R&B-infused Rock and Roll and onstage swagger propelled the group’s signature song 'Keep on Smilin' to the Top 10 on the Billboard singles chart in 1974. Backed by a crack band that also includes Bonamassa, Smith, keyboardist Reese Wynans, bassist Michael Rhodes and drummer Greg Morrow, the album also features special guest performances from guitarists Warren Haynes and Jared James Nichols.

- Mike Ross Band Album Review 14/8/22
"What else can you do during a heatwave other than lie back and listen to an instrumental album full of Summer goodness? Credit must go to the album cover art work for invoking 70’s style halcyon days. Mike Ross’s latest effort, in his recently prodigious output, offers not just a suite of Southern Rock but, by golly, as John Thompson’s character out of the Fast Show would intone, “This is Jazz”." 'Peach Jam', released towards the end of last month, is an album of original instrumental music by prolific British musician Mike Ross, so check out today both Ivan De Mello's complete take of all five tracks, plus today's Video Of The Day of the title track.
