    Previously released digitally worldwide, Perris Records will now release on CD next Friday 3rd February, both of Torben Enevoldsen's all instrumental albums, '5.1' (2019) and 'Transition' (2022), of which the latter features Pete Steincke (Fate) on bass, Dennis Hansen (Acacia Avenue) on drums and Enevoldsen on guitar and keyboards, who also mixed and mastered the album himself and wrote all songs, except for a cover of Joe Satriani's 'Memories', and 'Transition's first track, 'In Orbit', is one of today's six of the best 'Sunday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from The Almas, Dark Embrace, The Enigma Division, Medevil and Rylos.

  • Laura's Head Above Water 29/1/23

    Initially renowned for her cover versions of Blues and Rock classics on YouTube (500K subscribers - 105 million views), rising Anglo French Rock supremo Laura Cox recently released her new album, 'Head Above Water', on Friday 20th January via earMUSIC, of which her new single, and one of eleven great Rock songs bursting with energy and passion, 'Wiser', is today's Video Of The Day. Subsequently receiving great acclaim from both critics and Rock fans for her own music, with the release in 2017 of the Laura Cox Band's 'Hard Blues Shot', alongside like minded guitarist Mathieu Albiac, and then especially for her 2019 album, 'Burning Bright', watch out for Laura in March/April as the guitarist/singer is out on the road performing in both Germany and Poland.

    Released yesterday, 'Unity', the second album by Swedish melodic rockers Arctic Rain, sees them building on 2020’s ‘The One’, with a set of bigger, bolder songs with a rockier edge that are built around the bedrock of band mainstays Magnus Berglund (guitars) and Tobias Jonsson (vocals), complemented by the rhythm section of bassist Gert Daun and drumming of new member Richard Tonyson, plus tasteful keyboards of fellow newbie Kaspar Dahlqvist, such as 'Fire In My Eyes', one of today's six of the best 'Frontiers Rocks Again!'     Ahead of some live shows with her band around Italy, Germany and France over the coming months, yesterday Italian artist Kӕry Ann released her debut album, 'Songs of Grace and Ruin' via Anomic Records, of which, 'Imaginary Room', her fourth and last single, is today's Video Of The Day. This Neo-Psychedelic/Shoegaze moody song comes forth with a black and white vintage video, the last of the trilogy after the singles 'Blue Eyes' and 'Desert Song', in which the artist first plays an ethereal character who lives in nature, then progressively descends to a more human dimension.

    "To draw the jubilant set to a close we were treated to a couple of tributes to recently departed guitar legends, firstly the sensational Wilko Johnson penned Dr. Feelgood classic ‘Twenty Yards Behind’, and then a final sing-along to the late great Jeff Beck’s novelty hit ‘Hi Ho Silver Lining’. The band were on fire and delivered their usual high standard performance. A fun time was had by all!"
