In aid of the Macmillan Caring charity that cared for him, an exclusive memorial concert will be live-streamed (tickets at https://www.tradingboundaries.com/concert) on Thursday 3rd August at Trading Boundaries in East Sussex. in memory of John Wetton (King Crimson, Family, Roxy Music, Uriah Heep, Wishbone Ash, Asia), that will see friends and family of the late lead singer and guitarist, gather together to celebrate the life of this extraordinary musician, including Steve Hackett, who features on today's Video Of The Day, performing with John on 'Afterglow' at London's Eventim Apollo in May 2013. Wetton died on 31st January 2017, as a result of complications due to cancer, and most fittingly, an all-star line-up of legends, who were friends and collaborators of John’s, will perform songs from throughout his incredible career.

Southern Rock legends Molly Hatchet will not only be releasing their 21st album on the SPV/Steamhammer label this year, but yesterday they were at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London to finish off two new songs for the album, ahead of their overseas Summer tour that kicks off at Kent's The Beaverwood in Chislehurst tonight, of which Hatchet fan favourite, 'Flirtin' With Disaster', is one of today's six of the best 'Thursday Rocks!'
