    Following their triumphant February tour, Robert Jon & The Wreck return to the UK for a 10-date tour this coming September (pictured), and ahead of their upcoming eight-song album, 'Ride Into The Light', due out on Joe Bonamassa's Journeyman Records on Friday 4th August, last Friday the Southern roots rockers released their uplifting new single, 'Don't Look Down', of which the penultimate album track is one of today's six of the best 'Tuesday Rocks' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from Fearout, Evidence Of A Struggle, Bad Bones, The Anix and Welmoed.

    Sadly this year's British Summer Time at London's Hyde Park ended this weekend, and today's amazing 'Darlington County' Video Of The Day encapsulates both an outstanding long-awaited debut performance and a memorable day, as we not only go back to last Thursday when we saw the first of the two Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band's three-hour headline sets, but we also have a few photographs today from a beautiful sunny day, including Attawalpa plus the brilliant Cuban Brothers, who once again had the audience in stitches.

  • Daughter Of Zion 10/7/23

    Due to be released on Friday 11th August, Easy Eye Sound recently unveiled today's Video Of The Day of 'Daughter Of Zion', the latest piece of their upcoming Blues compilation, 'Tell Everybody!', which pays tribute to guitarist Glenn Schwartz, a formative mentor to Easy Eye Sound founder Dan Auerbach, as well as to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Joe Walsh. The two musicians - along with The Arcs - back the unsung Ohio hero on this original recording, which stems from sessions at Nashville’s Easy Eye Sound Studios just before Glenn’s passing in 2018. For Schwartz, this final chapter collaborating with Auerbach and Walsh - even making an unlikely Coachella debut with them in 2016 - is a fitting last twist in one of music’s most unpredictable careers.

Tracks Of The Day features legendary Rhythm'n' Blues band Dr. Feelgood who are appearing on the Friday, plus five other recent and forthcoming releases from Lyrizone featuring Tina Firefly, Martin Simpson & Thomm Jutz, Raining Nails, The 2:19 and Sargassus.

    Hailing from Kansas City, internationally recognised, awarded and touring Blues Artist, Danielle Nicole and her band, including guitarist Brandon Miller, drummer Go-Go Ray plus of course Danielle on vocals/bass, stopped off very aptly at London's The Forge in Camden on Independence Day last Tuesday night, and not only was John 'Mr. Rockrpix' Bull there to capture the trio in action in our Photo Gallery, but also check out today's Video Of The Day of both 'Pusher Man' and 'Cry No More', filmed on the night. Founding member of internationally acclaimed Blues/Rock band Trampled Under Foot, Nicole stepped out on her own in 2015 with debut album 'Wolf Den' which earned her a Blues Blast Award for Best New Artist. In 2018, Nicole returned with a follow-up release via Concord Records entitled 'Cry No More' debuting at #1 on Billboard, garnering a 2019 Grammy Nomination for Contemporary Blues Album plus two Blues Music Awards for Bassist and Female Contemporary Artist, among a slew of Blues Blast Music Awards and three Independent Blues Awards.
