  • Gwyn Ashton's Never Ending Tour 12/8/23

    Once the lead guitarist with Rory Gallagher outfit, Band of Friends, after touring Europe and Australia for the past five years, South Australia Hall of Fame recording and touring artist, Gwyn Ashton is back, having not only recently released his tenth Swamp Blues and Boogie album, 'Mojosoul', but one of the hardest working musicians around is also taking his red hot dynamite all-new stage show out on the UK road this month and next, of which Gwyn's infectious 12-string acoustic opening album track, 'Vanish Into Thin Air', is today's Video Of The Day. Described as “the king of feel” by Robert Plant, the one-man Blues Rock band, not only plays Weissenborn lap slide, bottleneck National steel and a variety of electric guitars, but also sings, as well as playing bass, drums and harmonica.

  • Frontiers Rocks Again! 12/8/23

    Formed in 2021, and although influenced by bands such as Journey, Toto, Kansas and Def Leppard, AOR/Melodic Rock band, Streetlight, from southern Sweden, create a classic guitar driven sound that is very much for the here and now, as testified yesterday with the release of their debut album, 'Ignition', that delivers distinctive melodies, punchy choruses and strong hooks, such at the album opener, 'Hit The Ground', which is also one of today's six of the best 'Frontiers Rocks Again!'
