With a review from Day 1 of Faversham's A New Day Festival in the pipeline, one of the many highlights on Friday was legendary Rock band Geordie, who not only play a matinee performance today at London's The Half Moon Putney, but also dedicated their recent single, 'Red, White & Blue', to the England Women's football team who take on Spain in the World Cup Final in Oz this morning, of which the AC/DC sounding track is also one of today's six of the best 'England Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, along with five other iconic English footie songs from Neil Diamond, Sham 69 & The Special Assembly, Baddiel, Skinner & The Lightning Seeds, Fat Les and Luciano Pavarotti.

A young, innovative and refreshingly original British Rock band who harness Metal and a hint of Industrial to create a truly massive sound, not only have Cypher16 recently announced their return to the live circuit, but last Friday, following five massive singles, they also unveiled their long awaited and powerful new 11-track album, 'It's A Long Way Back (From This Road)', of which the title track is one of today's six of the best 'Thursday Rocks!' One of the leading lights in Europe’s experimental Rock domain, The Pineapple Thief were formed in 1999 by founder and chief songwriter Soord and have released a total of 13 albums, with the current line up including frontman Bruce, Jon Sykes, Gavin Harrison (King Crimson/Porcupine Tree) who joined the band in 2016 and Steve Kitch.

Within six years of their inception, Germany’s Mantar were scoring Top 10 albums in their native country, as 2018’s 'The Modern Art Of Setting Ablaze' hit #7, with the Metal duo steadily building momentum as their 2022 full-length, 'Pain Is Forever and This is The End', reached #2 on the chart, although their recently released song on Metal Blade Records, 'Valhalla Hammering', never made it on the album last year, but it is one of today's six of the best 'Wednesday Rocks!'
