    Best known as lead vocalist and guitarist for Progressive Rock band It Bites, Francis Dunnery debuted his all-original new Blues band on the road in November last year, and next month Tombstone Dunnery return to the UK circuit, armed with music from their new twelve-track album, 'The Blues Of Tombstone Dunnery Vol.1', due to be released next Friday 15th September, of which the track, 'The Town Where Nobody Feels', is today's Video Of The Day, filmed last year at Oswestry's The Hermon Chapel Arts Centre. Indeed, Dunnery is no stranger to the Blues, not only being brought up in a household filled with his older brothers’ Blues records, but his blistering guitar skills also brought him to the attention of Led Zeppelin’s legendary front man Robert Plant, with whom he played guitar for three years.

    Swedish-American Atmospheric Melancholic Pop duo, Silent Skies, released their highly anticipated new full-length, 'Dormant', last Friday via Napalm Records, of which the international ambient collaboration's opening track, 'Construct', that's also today's Video Of The Day, calls for the listener to join the two musicians on a soulful journey, building the atmosphere to a sublime conclusion. Featuring Tom S. Englund (Evergrey) and pianist/composer Vikram Shankar, Silent Skies' third offering is melancholic and calming, yet effervescent and incandescent, expanding the duo’s sonic universe in every direction, and is the result of brave sonic experimentation married to the tastefully artistic aesthetic that defines the group.
