    With four upcoming UK and Ireland shows over the next month, including Ilfracombe Rocks this coming Saturday 11th November, last Saturday energetic South Wales four-piece Rock outfit, The Black Vultures, released their debut single, 'Treat Me Like An Animal', of which the unsigned band's track is also one of today's six of the best 'Wednesday Rocks! Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from Dmitry Wild, Overflow, A Life Divided, Collapse Under The Empire and Three Eyes Of The Void.

  • Calm Before The Storm 8/11/23

    An eclectic mix of instrumentals and soundscapes, on Monday, The Ocean Dwellers released their fourth album, 'Calm Before The Storm', through C-Bed Sounds Inc. and distributed by Ditto Music, of which the track 'Carved In Rock' is today's Video Of The Day. With post-production mastering by Andy Le Vien at RMS Studios, South London, all nine tracks were composed, performed, recorded, produced and mixed by Steven C. Giilbert, including a couple of Funk infused tracks, a Punk twelve bar Blues track, a couple of Psychedelic Space Rock explorations, two weird and wonderful Avant-garde sprawling soundscapes and a couple of tracks with hints of Celtic Rock for good measure!

  • Tull Unchained 7/11/23

    Following their recent North American tour, with further dates scheduled across the world leading into next year, earlier in April, Jethro Tull returned with their 23rd studio album via InsideOutMusic, ‘RökFlöte’, of which the brand new video from the album for the track, ‘Wolf Unnchained’, is today's Video Of The Day. The band comprising Ian Anderson - flute and vocals, David Goodier - bass, John O’Hara - keys, Scott Hammond - drums and Joe Parrish-James - guitars, also recently launched the alternative stereo mixes of the twelve-track album by Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief) on digital services worldwide, based on the characters and roles of some of the principle Gods of the old Norse paganism, and at the same time exploring the ‘RökFlöte’ - Rock flute - which Anderson and his band have made iconic.

    Presenting a new musical face, mixing the melody and aggression of Trivium and In Flames, with catchy Iron Maiden like riffs, plus the Progressive Rock influences of Evergrey and Kamelot, last Friday, Polish post-apocalyptic Metal band, Killsorrow, released their latest twelve-track album, 'Wasteland Chronicles', of which the album closer, 'Home Sweet Home', is one of today's six of the best 'Tuesday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from The Last Element featuring Dreamhouse, Circle Of Dust (Sebastian Komor Remix), Absolon, Berkley and Superdeathflame.

  • Outcast Syndicate's Plastic Feeling 6/11/23

    Taken from their forthcoming twelve track debut album, 'Uncoiled', Melodic Rock outfit Outcast Syndicate recently released their new single 'Plastic Feeling', of which the hook-laden song not only tackles the theme of struggling through the motions of daily life, knowing your in a relationship with the wrong person, but it's also today's Video Of The Day. Drawing upon a range of influences such as Thin Lizzy, Halestorm, UFO, Def Leppard and Pretty Reckless, the female fronted North-East four-piece have been steadily building their reputation through passionate live performances and were recently featured as 'Ones To Watch' by national music publication Emerging Rock Bands.

    Singer, songwriter, guitarist and bass player, John Simpson, is currently the musical force in the Pop-Rock duo Feenstra & Simpson, with their five singles so far achieving unexpected UK/Netherlands chart success, and today's Podcast Of The Day sees John recently interviewed by his partner in crime, Pete. Originally an Indie rock band member, Simpson became enamoured by the late great Wilko Johnson, that led to a decade of him being the guitarist and main man in The Feelgood Band.
