Having just released last month a special 20th anniversary edition of their ‘Feel Euphoria’ album on vinyl for the very first time, legendary US Progressive rockers Spock’s Beard will return to the UK in early 2024 for a run of headline shows including London's 229 on Thursday 1st February, of which the aforementioned album title track, is today's Video Of The Day. The UK tour coincides with their appearance headlining Midwinter Prog Festival in Utrecht, with the band currently comprising Ted Leonard (guitars/vocals), Dave Meros (bass), Alan Morse (guitars), Ryo Okumoto (keyboards) and Mike Throne (drums).

Having just recently announced the dates for his 2024 UK tour: Steve Hackett - Genesis Greats, Lamb Highlights & Solo, the legendary guitarist is now set to release his first new studio album since 2021, ‘The Circus And The Nightwhale’, next year on Friday 16th February via InsideOut Music, of which the first single from the thirteen-track rite-of-passage concept album, 'People of the Smoke', is today's Video Of The Day. The tour takes in 15 dates across the UK culminating with a visit to London’s Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday 23rd October, and to mark the 50th anniversary of 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway', Hackett is including a selection of highlights from this iconic Genesis album, plus an outstanding touring line-up comprising Roger King (keyboards), Nad Sylvan (vocals), Jonas Reingold (bass, backing vocals), Rob Townsend (saxophone, flutes, additional keyboards) and Craig Blundell (drums), plus special guest Amanda Lehmann.

A faithful moniker of London-based singer-songwriter Dan Kert and his troupe of ever-changing collaborators, 'We Stayed Indoors', was released on Thursday, by Indie Rock outfit Plastic Barricades, their third full-length, of which the album track, 'For The Brave', is today's Video Of The Day, filmed together with London-based artist Olly Holovchenko, that explores stop-motion technique in a unique setting, Taking on the tricky subjects of hope, mental health, doubts, living in the moment, courage, perception change, regrets about the past and worries about the future, the songwriting on the 10-track album has been greatly influenced by Seattle Alt Rock icons Death Cab for Cutie, and the title of the record is a homage to their 2001 song 'We Laugh Indoors'.
