  • Beastie 31/12/23

We were all devastated to learn of the passing of our pal Beastie over the festive period. Even though we never actually met the chuffing legend, we all knew him, not only through listening to his wonderful weekly Blues Club and Rock Show podcasts, but also identified with him given his love of the beautiful game. Today's Blues Club Podcast Of The Day is dedicated in his memory, originally broadcast in May, the very same day his beloved Sheffield Wednesday miraculously got to Wembley. Also nominated in our 2023 WRC Podcast Of The Year award, how fitting it would be if it was won in his memory, although, regardless of the outcome, you are a winner in our eyes mate. Voting closes here at midnight tonight https://www.wrinklyrockersclub.com/2023-wrc-awards-voting God bless you Steve.
