On the back of their recently released '(I’m) Stranded' 4LP box set, The Saints ’73–’78 marks the 50th anniversary of this cult Australian Rock band's debut performance with a month-long tour, including five UK dates, culminating in a special show at London’s Electric Ballroom on Wednesday 26th November, with support from the sound and ferocity of fast-rising fellow Aussie duo, Chimers, of which today's Video Of The Day, features five of The Saints songs filmed live at Sydney's Paddington Town Hall in 1977. Comprising original guitarist Ed Kuepper and drummer Ivor Hays, as well as vocalist Mark Arm, bassist Peter Oxley and guitarist Mick Harvey, the quintet are also joined on tour by a three-piece brass section featuring tenor and baritone sax plus trumpet, including masters of their craft; Eamon Dilworth and Julien Wilson.
