    Ahead of playing Leicestershire's The Long Road Festival on Saturday 24th August, Kyle Daniel, the Bowling Green native and powerhouse singer-songwriter blending classic Southern Rock with modern Country, releases his highly anticipated debut album, 'Kentucky Gold', on Friday 28th via Snakefarm, of which his latest album single, ‘Summer Down South’, featuring The Cadillac Three, is today's rollicking Video Of The Day. Daniel co-wrote all 12 tracks on the new album, collaborating with producers such as The Cadillac Three’s Jaren Johnston, The Lone Bellow’s Brian Elmquist and songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Mike Krompass, the sum of which all adds up to a standout release in the Roots music landscape, as the album weaves together elements of Muscle Shoals Soul, Nashville twang, Blues and the raw energy of Daniel’s electric guitar.

  • Fjord Focus 4/6/24

    At the forefront of the Progressive Rock music movement since 1969, delivering engaging, innovative and skilfully crafted music, and coinciding with a string of 21 live dates across the USA and Canada, as part of the Heat Of The Moment Tour alongside other Progressive greats, Asia, Curved Air and Martin Turner - ex Wishbone Ash, Focus are set to release on Friday 5th July via Spirit Of Unicorn Music, 'Focus 12', and today's Video Of The Day is their first single, 'Fjord Focus', featuring an epic guitar solo from Menno Gootjes, which was recorded in just one take. Thijs van Leer has written the majority of the ten-track album, which also boasts some of Pierre van der Linden's greatest and most energetic drum sequences to date, as well as allowing the younger guard to take the audio reins for the first time, that sees 'Focus 12' produced by Gootjes and bass guitarist Udo Pannekeet, who also contribute two compositions on the album.
