  • Royal Republic UK Tour 8/8/24

    Following both a triumphant performance at Donington's Download Festival, plus the release of their eagerly anticipated new album, 'LoveCop', via Odyssey Music in June, power-disco rockers Royal Republic have announced a four-date UK headline tour starting on Thursday 31st October at London’s Electric Ballroom, and for today's Video Of The Day we also go back to June, when the Swedish quartet belted out 'Freakshow' at Nurburg's Rock am Ring Festival in Germany. Produced by Adam Grahn and Michael Ilbert at the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin, 'LoveCop' is the band’s fifth studio album and sees them at their most bold, brazen and brilliant whilst effortlessly crossing genres to deliver their own brand of infectious good time Rock infused power-disco.

  • Random Earth Hotel 7/8/24

    Featuring special guest artiste Kim Cypher on soprano saxophone, last month, Prog Rock collective, Random Earth Project, released a taster track, 'Hotel', for their follow up album to 'Airwaves', that's due out late/end 2024, of which the instrumental piece, written by keyboard player Carleton Van Selman, is today's Video Of The Day. Originally meant to be the theme tune for a TV series, in which Carleton featured, about the high's and the low's of owning and turning a shell of a building into a high class hotel, Kim is also well known in the world of Jazz, having worked with some notable names along with her solo and band endeavours.

    Ahead of "infesting" London’s OVO Arena Wembley with their first-ever headline show next year on Friday 7th February, last Friday, Rock icons, Papa Roach, united with eight-time Grammy Award winning Carrie Underwood, to release a new recording of their multi-format hit single 'Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark)', a band favourite, first performed live last year on their tour with Shinedown and Spiritbox, that's also today's Video Of The Day. The dynamic duet was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, and continues the mission of the Californian band to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental health awareness, alongside partner organisation(s) the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), who will receive royalties generated from both artists from the song, in perpetuity.
