    Better known as the keyboard player and joint lead vocalist of Slade, Russell Keefe's first ever TBelly solo project "Duo" gig takes place on Saturday 28th September at Barnaby’s Lounge, 46 Robertson Street, Hastings TN34 1HL, with guitarist Brian Powell joining vocalist/pianist Keefeyboy, playing stripped down versions of songs from the first two TBelly albums, 'Dead Men Don’t Pray' and 'I Never Want To See Me Again', as well as various singles, of which the title track from TBelly's latest three-track EP, 'Me and You', is also one of today's six of the best 'Monday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five recent and forthcoming releases from Strangers, BARD, Cober Mouth, Marble and The Heathen Scÿthe.

    Following her debut album, 'New Sensation', that was released in December last year via Frontiers Music Srl, Australian rocker Cassidy Paris and her band completed their first ever sixteen-date UK headline tour, at Gravesend's Leo's Red Lion on Friday night, so not only check out today John 'Mr. Rockrpix' Bull's Photo Gallery from the gig, but also watch today's 'Addicted' Video Of The Day, filmed at the London Cart & Horses leg a week earlier. An endorsee of Fender Guitars, raised on classic Hard Rock and inspired by female rockers such as Lzzy Hale, Joan Jett and Pat Benatar, the quartet also played last month's Steelhouse Festival in Ebbw Vale, that followed their recent signing with SD Entertainment plus two successful UK runs in 2022 and 2023.

    Comprising elements of Rock, Blues and Grunge, Red Giant bring their unique blend of Heavy Rock, with their outstanding eponymous ten-track debut album, that's out on Friday 18th October, a dynamic thrill ride from start to finish, of which the trio's lead single released yesterday, 'Monsters', is today's Video Of The Day. The brainchild of the popular YouTube presenter and guitar prodigy, Dave Simpson (guitar and lead vocals), Red Giant also consists of versatile drummer and bedrock of the band, John Joe, as well as bassist Carina Powell, who despite her compact stature, is an absolute powerhouse on stage and in the studio.

  • LaMP See The Light 9/8/24

    Following the release this June of 'Live At Nectar's', a double album recorded last November at the band's Burlington, Vermont home-base, as well as five East Coast dates this month, high energy, improvisational groove, Jazz trio, LaMP, will also kick off a twelve-date US Midwest and Northeast Fall tour in October, having recently premiered today's live Video Of The Day of 'Tango', filmed earlier this year in April at Maine's Portland House Of Music. Consisting of drummer Russ Lawton and keyboardist Ray Paczkowski, who also comprise the organ/drums duo Soule Monde (as well as being long-standing members of the Trey Anastasio Band), plus guitarist Scott Metzger, who performs with Joe Russo's Almost Dead (in addition to being an in-demand studio musician), they initially formed for a one off performance, although the chemistry between them was immediate, as testified by this recent live recording of pointed improvisations and raw Funk, that has ultimately sparked a burgeoning national fanbase.

    Winner in 2018 of the Best Small Festival at the UK Festival Awards, ArcTanGent the critically acclaimed, independent festival since 2013, takes place next week between Wednesday 14th - 17th August on the idyllic Fernhill Farm near Bristol, with 100+ acts playing Math Rock, Post Rock, Progressive Metal and experimental music across five alternating stages on a relatively compact site, so today's 'Arctangent Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day highlight just six of the great bands taking part, namely Meshuggah, Yomi Ship, Avkrvst, Kalandra, Conan and Healthyliving.
