With renewed interest in ELP’s legacy, given founding drummer Carl Palmer's forthcoming “An Evening with ELP” UK live shows next year, BMG have announced a new reissue of 'Works Live' by Emerson, Lake & Palmer, due out on Friday 24th July, featuring remastered audio alongside updated liner notes, available as a standalone title for the first time in more than 30 years, that's also accompanied by today's official live Video Of The Day for 'Peter Gunn'. Originally issued in 1979 as 'In Concert', the album captured ELP during their legendary 1977 North American orchestral tour, blending the group’s groundbreaking fusion of Rock, Classical music and theatrical live performance, drawn primarily from Montreal’s Olympic Stadium, documenting the trio at the height of their powers, performing landmark works such as 'Fanfare for the Common Man', 'Knife-Edge' and 'Pictures at an Exhibition'.
