Mearfest, the annual Rock festival that this year not only celebrated the 45th anniversary of the NWOBHM, but also raised much needed funds for Doorway, the Nuneaton charity for young homeless people, took place last Friday and Saturday at The Queens Hall in Nuneaton, so check out today Les Linyard's Photo Gallery of Thunderstick (Video Of The Day), Overdrive (pictured), Gypsy's Kiss, Gang and Sacrilege, performing on the Saturday.

Preparing for a special guest appearance supporting Evergrey on their ‘Emptiness Over Europe’ tour, which includes London's The Dome on Saturday 14th December (pictured), Italian Progressive Alt-Rock/Metal outfit Klogr are set to release their highly anticipated new album, 'Fractured Realities', on Thursday 31st October, of which one of their ten album tracks, 'Unspoken Words', is today's Video Of The Day. Since their inception in 2011, the band have toured relentlessly, supporting notable acts such as Prong and Limp Bizkit, and following on from their last album, 'Keystone', as well as tour cycles with The Rasmus, Butcher Babies and Infected Rain, 'Fractured Realities' marks a new chapter for the quartet, characterised by resilience and innovation.

Originally billed under the band-name ‘Dr. Dirty’ from 1992-1993, Bravewords Records recently released 'Rhett Forrester & Rob Robbins - The Complete Dr. Dirty Sessions', a collection of sixteen songs celebrating a little known chapter in the musical journey of the late, and much missed Rock vocalist Forrester, whose biggest influences were later cited by guitarist Robbins as being Paul Rodgers and Steven Tyler, of which the album track, 'Hold On', is also one of today's six of the best 'Monday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from Militia Vox, Pete International Airport, D-A-D, Wolfbrigade and Sandveiss.

In August and September last year, Norwegian Rock quintet Dim Gray undertook their first extensive tour of the UK and Europe, playing 15 dates across nine countries with Big Big Train, with the band recording each show, and now having subsequently picked out a selection of songs and performances that will form a live digital EP to be released this Autumn, of which the first album single, ‘The Wave We Thought We’d Ride Forever (live)’, is today's Video Of The Day. Recorded at London's Cadogan Hall, this energetic rocker was the set opener on the final show of the tour, originally included on ‘Flown’, the band’s 2020 debut album, that sees this new EP containing further live versions of songs from both Dim Gray albums to date, as well as their recent single, ‘Murals’.
