Our Route 66 Track Of The Day features two new tracks submitted by artists who listen to the show! First up is Matt Steady, a singer/songwriter from Leicester plus there is also a track from Brain, a Swedish rock & blues group based in Stockholm! King, Gun and Airbourne. However, the pièce de résistance is Wrinkly The Silver's request for some Magnum as it was lead singer and WTS's mate Bob Catley (pictured with WTS and Wrinkly The Biker) 68th birthday last Friday! Happy Birthday Bob!

Don't forget that voting closes here on August 31st so don't leave it too late! In the meantime Kevin Beale is back live tonight here at 7pm - watch out for the podcast which will also be our Track Of The Day in the next few days.

  • Go Your Own Way! 28 May 2015

Yes Fleetwood Mac were back at the O2 Arena, London, last night on the latest leg of their 'On With The Show Tour' and our very own roving correspondent Wrinkly The Silver was their to witness it with Mrs. WTS in tow! What makes this tour all the more special is the return of Christine McVie, who has been absent from the band now for sixteen years, along with Stevie Nicks on vocals, Lindsey Buckingham on lead guitar, John McVie on bass and, despite undergoing countless band member changes over the years, drummer Mick Fleetwood has remained a constant. Fleetwood Mac have continued to share quality rock music with fans for almost fifty years now and their classic album 'Rumours' routinely creeps up in the ‘Best Albums of All-Time’ - so watch out for WTS's take on the gig over the coming days. In the meantime our 'Video Of The Day' was taken on the 2014 American leg of their tour.

  • Loose Moorings II 30 April 2015

Loose Moorings rode into Chalk Farm last Valentine's night with only one thing in mind and it wasn't romance!! This was their chance to show the Capital what they were all about and boy did they do that. The WRC gig launched their new album Loose Moorings II and they were in no mood to ease in gently. They opened with a track off their first album - the classic 'Think I'd Be Blue' and that set the tone for their set which included all but two tracks off the new album that were all quality - particularly 'Ride' (our Video Of The Day'). Other highlights were 'Magpie', 'Last Thing I Need' and a trip to the dark side with 'A Crazy Sane'. More of the same tomorrow night please guys!

  • Burn It To The Ground 21/10/16

We hold our hands up and admit that Nickelback were never really on the WRC radar until we saw them at London's O2 Arena four year's ago - and what a great night that was. Returning to the very same venue last night, after also playing Wembley Arena on Friday - the guys had lost none of their trademark entertainment - the evening totally enforced with brilliant support from Monster Truck - who have been on the WRC radar for quite some time now. Anyway with a review and more pics to come - check out today's Vid Of The Day.

  • Robinson's Shaft 9/10/16

Following last night's Rock On The Ridge BluesRockFest special - we were delighted to hear from Keith Howe of Blacktop Deluxe who kindly shared news of their new single 'Robinson's Shaft' - which is today's Vid Of The Day! This is the first release from the new 'Four-Piece' Blacktop Deluxe and it's a tale of mining - given Rock and Blues music has always had its origins in the hardship of the working classes. And the good news is that if you missed Bob & Jules show on Saturday night - it will be our Track Of The Day on Tuesday!

  • Hold On For Dear Life! 23/9/16

Pennsylvania US rockers and WRC favourites Crobot release their new album 'Welcome To Fat City' - via Nuclear Blast Entertainment in the UK and Europe today. They also have announced they will be bringing their funkadelic riffs back to UK shores this Autumn - supporting Australian rockers Airbourne (who we saw at Ramblin' Man) on all UK dates including London's Electric Ballroom on Tuesday 29th November which we will be attending. Anyway check out today's Vid Of The Day - in our opinion the stand-out track from the new album - a live version of 'Hold On For Dear Life'.
