The Blues Rock market is crowded right now as people look to the past for their future inspiration, but there’s a way to get your music heard above the rest. Be so good you can’t be ignored. And if talent counts for anything, then in ten years time, it’s the Nashville based Simo that are set for arenas. They are to soon to complete 3 European tours since inception and the latest album ‘Let Love Show The Way’ has received great critical acclaim... Onwards and upwards surely if there is any justice....." If there is a down side to seeing Joe tonight (surely not?), then not only are we missing the England game (probably a good thing) but we are also missing Ramblin' Man Saturday Main Stage openers Inglorious tonight (see our Download Vid Of The Day) at the first of two 'Road to Ramblin' Man' FREE gigs at Big Reds on Holloway Road, London. The second gig is Sunday's Blue Stage's Tax the Heat on Friday 15th July.

Bristol based Elles Bailey hasn't been dubbed a 'Blues Princess' for no reason. This young Bristolian cuts right against the grain in so many ways, that’s probably why she’s such a rapidly rising star in the British music scene. Nowadays Elles and her band (made up of some of Bristol’s brightest and finest) are currently tearing up the UK and European scene, scoring raves reviews at every place they play from Bristol to Berlin, with energy packed hi-octane performances. And tonight Elles' trademark gravelly voice will grace the Tuesday Night Music Club at the Comrades Club, 194 Brighton Road, Coulsdon, Greater London, CR5 2NF.

'Revolver' by The Beatles is considered by many to be one of the greatest Rock albums ever made. Radio and television icon Howard Stern thinks so too and because it’s his favourite Beatles album, he created a very special celebration for its 50th anniversary. On Friday 7th October, the Howard Stern Show celebrated 'Revolver' with an all-star musical tribute featuring some of music’s best acts. The lineup included James Taylor performing 'Here, There and Everywhere', Cheap Trick playing 'She Said She Said', Gov’t Mule rockin’ 'And Your Bird Can Sing' and Joe Bonamassa with his rousing rendition of 'Taxman', the album’s lead track. Just a fortnight after this year's amazing BluesRockFest at Leo's Red Lion, Gravesend, the 2015 WRC Award winning Rock On The Ridge show are broadcasting a special show here at 8pm tonight including interviews with all the bands that took part on that memorable day. Due to a torrential rain forecast - Joe Bonamassa's Hoghton Tower outdoor gig tonight has been moved indoors to the Preston Guild Hall. The venue will be a mixture of standing and unreserved seating and provides the best opportunity for Joe’s fans not to miss his planned visit to Preston. Doors open at 6pm and special guest Joanne Shaw Taylor is on at 6.45 pm with JB (pictured at Liverpool's Cavern Club last Monday) due on stage at 8pm.

With all the gigs going on over this weekend, it's probabably fair to say that music is a bit of a drug for the WRC! Therefore it's most appropriate that were off to see headliners Tommy Castro & The Painkillers (see today's Vid Of The Day) at London's 100 Club tonight! The American Blues, R&B and rock guitarist and singer is supported by Blues Hall of Fame singer and songwriter Sari Schorr who's new band The Engine Room release a new album 'A Force Of Nature' on Wednesday 17th August on Manhaton Records which features Walter Trout, Oli Brown and Innes Sibun. Tonight Sari (pictured) and Innes will be performing an acoustic set. See you there!

With both AC/DC and Springsteen gigs to come over the weekend - the WRC are recharging their batteries tonight. And what better way to do that than by listening to some great music. Kicking off here at 7pm on Blues On The Marsh - Kevin Beale has BluesRockfest's very own Robin Bibi live in the studio. Both the Marshman and Robin (who's BluesRockFest acoustic set has been sponsored this year by WRC Promotions) also feature on today's Wrinklycast Track Of The Day as we turn the clock back to BluesFest 2014. And just a reminder that BluesRockFest at Leo's Red Lion is on Saturday 24th September and there are still a few remaining Earlybird Tickets on sale here for £15 (instead of £20).
