Following the disappointing news that Yes had to postpone their upcoming ‘Fragile’ UK and EU Tour, due to guitarist Steve Howe requiring an essential operation, the good news is that the band have just announced the release of a new ten-track studio album, 'Aurora', that's due to be be released on Friday 12th June via InsideOutMusic/Sony Music, of which the title track and first single, is today's beautifully animated Video Of The Day. With rescheduled UK and EU dates to be announced shortly, the band, also comprising keyboardist Geoff Downes, lead vocalist Jon Davison, bassist Billy Sherwood and drummer Jay Schellen, began working on this their 24th album almost as soon as the ‘Classic Tales of Yes’ tour ended in 2024, with some tracks echoing the classic Yes approach, while others push into new territory.
