Following three critically acclaimed albums with the Belfast-based Blues band The 2:19, Chris Chalmers and Marty Young unveil their first project as Chris Chalmers and the Souvenirs, with the debut release this coming Friday 1st May of their eleven-track 'Way Back Home', of which the lead single and title track is today's Video Of The Day. Marking a new creative era for the longtime collaborators, 'Way Back Home' offers a rich, intimate sound shaped by the duo’s wide-ranging musical influences, with the pair performing nearly every instrument on the record themselves, while welcoming a select group of friends for key contributions.
