2017 WRC Best Blues Rock winner Dan Patlansky was a special guest at Bywater Call's London Garage gig last month (pictured), so not only is the South African guitarist's performance on the night of 'Madison Lane' today's Video Of The Day, but his uber fluent fret work as well as his commanding use of a loop machine, also sees him one of six nominees in our 2025 WRC Awards Best Unplugged category, along with John Mitchell & Jez Fielder, Jontavious Willis, Dom Martin, Rachel Croft and Shaun Kirk.
