A contemporary Folk musician influenced by a wealth of genres including Jazz, Rock, old-time and traditional, hailing from the Scottish highlands, Rachel Sermanni is an enchanting singer-songwriter, whose performance and lyrics draw from a deep well of mysticism, dreams, nature and the simple-complex experience of being human, and not only is she releasing her newest foray into her sonic subconscious, with her latest album, 'Dreamer Awake', due out on Friday 15th September on Navigator Records, but Rachel is also bringing her new album to the stage at festivals this Summer and on a UK tour in late September that includes dates across England and Scotland, of which her album track, 'Jacob', is also one of today's six of the best 'Thursday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from Nemdis, Nitroverts, Wily Bo Walker, Motorjunkie and Skull & Crossbones.
