Ahead of two live performance in their home capital in December and January, and influenced by 80s and 90s British Pop, Alternative Rock and Post-Punk bands like Joy Division and Placebo, plus American acts such as Pixies, The Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana, The WaterStriders are a four-piece act hailing from Athens, best described as Indie Rock, Alternative and Garage Pop. characterised by distorted guitars and melodic lines, who have just released their new full-length album on the Old Bad Habits Label, 'My Name is Expectation', of which their single, 'I Never Die, My Name Is Expectation', is one of today's six of the best 'Thursday Rocks!' Tracks of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from Troy Redfern, Diplomatics, Gramercy Arms, Faster Pussycat and Darren Michael Boyd.
