Them Good Old Boys! 12/11/15

Originally formed as a vehicle to play live Rock and R&B whenever the members were free from touring with their own bands - The Good Old Boys will be performing at Twickenham's famous Eel Pie Club at The Patch, 67 London Road TW1 3SZ tonight. The Good Old Boys are Nick Simper, Peter Parks, Alan Barratt, Simon Bishop and Richard Hudston and they have played with, or alongside Deep Purple, Johnny Kidd & The Pirates, B.B. King, Simple Minds, Cliff Bennett & The Rebelrousers, The Tremeloes and The Strawbs. Their 2009 live album was recorded at an all-day Deep Purple convention in 2008 to mark the 40th Anniversary of the first Deep Purple performance in Denmark in April 1968!
