Just over forty nine years after their iconic Charlton gig in 1974, The Who returned to South East London at The O2 on Wednesday night - albeit two legends down - but still with Daltrey and Townshend's extended band firing on all cylinders, including Pete's brother Simon on guitar, Ringo's son Zak on drums and an orchestra to boot, so check out our amazing Video Of The Day of Quadrophenia's 'The Rock'. Of course the line "Hope I Die Before I Get Old" has come back to bite them on the bum over the year's - but 'Who' gives a s**t? If you have never seen them live - then make sure you get to see them at one of their last five dates on their The Who Hits Back! tour that continues at The Incora Cricket Ground in Derby today. Otherwise we await the announcement of their return to The Valley in May 2024 to celebrate their half century anniversary of that amazing day, and at the same time, re-invite their original support card, including Sammy Hagar, Lindisfarne, Bad Company, Humble Pie and Maggie Bell for good measure? You Better You Bet!
