Blues Lord, Bernie Marsden recently shared today's wonderful Video Of The Day on the making of his new album, 'Chess', released today, featuring ten lightning-charged tracks that were originally released on the fabled Chess label, plus two self-penned instrumentals as bonus tracks. The second album in his ‘Inspirations’ series, 'Chess' follows in the triumphant wake of its widely acclaimed, chart-topping predecessor, ‘Kings’. Indeed, watch as Marsden discusses how he chose the songs that made it on to the album and how much he was influenced by the legendary Blues guitarists that originally performed these amazing songs. The National Treasure also takes us back to his days writing hits with Whitesnake and how he and Joe Bonamassa worked on composing songs together.
