Was it really over 42 years ago that we made our way to London's Olympia for The Great British Music Festival in January 1976 to see the likes of Charlie, Be Bop Deluxe, Pretty Things, Slim Chance, Nazareth and Bad Company? Fast forward 42 years and substitute the word 'Beer' for 'Music' and we were back - of course not only to sample the beer but also the musical fare on a Planet Rock stage that was significantly smaller than the one we saw Nazareth give Bad Company a good run for their money. To be fair, on Thursday, Fireroad, Mollie Marriott, Danny Bryant (pictured), The Dust Coda, Bad Touch and Broken Witt Rebels did the ghosts of '76 proud with some quality music. Anyway, check out our Photo Gallery here from an awesome day.
