Best known as the lead guitarist with legendary British Rock band FM, having toured the UK and Europe playing at some of the world’s biggest and most prestigious Rock festivals. Jim Kirkpatrick will be releasing his 10-track solo album, ‘Dead Man Walking’, on Friday 21st April, which impressively showcases Jim’s multiple Rock and Blues talents and expands his variety and range into pastures and prairies new, not only incorporating some Americana and Gospel influences in with the usual blend of Blues Rock, but also including collaborations from Bernie Marsden, the rhythm section of Status Quo (John ‘Rhino’ Edwards and Leon Cave) plus FM’s Jem Davis, who also appears on keys, and yesterday, Kirkpatrick released his first single from the new album, 'Union Train', that's also one of today's six of the best 'Saturday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from Dreamyth, George Sanders And The Parallels, Osyron, Fiesta Alba featuring Welle and Shakra.
