Guitarist, songwriter and vocalist Matt Long very sadly passed away on 6th October 2024 after an 18-month battle with cancer at just 29 years of age. However, the music world has come together once again with a new double album, 'A Little Help From My Friends - A Tribute To Matt Long', with all proceeds going to Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, where Matt received medical treatment. Scheduled for release this Spring, the album includes solos from US Blues-Rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa and legend Walter Trout, as well as 'Have My Say' by The Zac Schulze Gang, that's also one of today's six of the best 'Saturday Rocks!' Tracks Of The Day, complemented by five further recent and forthcoming releases from Truckfighters, The Fods x NEVIN, Illumina A.D., Victorius and Virtue In Vain.
