Exactly six years ago today, Rory Auskerry's Route 66 show broadcasted a full interview with Leslie West, who sadly passed away last Christmas, and today's Podcast Of The Day pays tribute to the guitar legend, when Rory and Leslie not only chatted about his then new album 'Soundcheck', but also playing and recording with The Who, Brian May, Joe Bonamassa, Jack Bruce and Johnny Winter, plus his time working with Mountain, The Vagrants and West, Bruce & Laing.
