Robert Jon & The Wreck Sittingbourne Review 21/2/23

"Let’s say that as far as this audience is concerned, the guys are preaching to the converted, demonstrated by how many sang along to virtually every tune and the generous smattering of band t-shirts on show - but quite right too, this talented bunch of musicians deserve every plaudit flying in their direction. Whether it’s Blues, Southern tinged Rock, a hint of Prog or ballad, the band classily deliver them all."

Similar to the lyrics of that American classic, 'New York, New York', Robert Jon & The Wreck are so good that the WRC had to see them twice, following their stand out performance at London's PowerHaus recently, so Les Linyard had the pleasure last Saturday of taking in the final date of their UK tour at Sittingbourne's Bourne Music Club, supported by Bywater Call's Meghan Parnell and Dave Barnes, therefore not only check out Les's complete take today, plus his photos, complemented by some equally brilliant photos from John 'Mr. Rockrpix' Bull, but also watch today's Video Of The Day of 'Who Can You Love', recorded at Aberdeen's Tunnels four nights earlier.
